Whether you are new to the school or to a new grade, welcome. This year we will be looking at reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. But also, we will be creative in our thoughts, our words, our writing and our, of course, use of English.

 

We will be using our new National Geographic Readers and novels throughout the year as well as additional materials and short stories. 

 

I am excited to start the year off in with the novels, 'The Giver.'  in 9th grade and 'The Outsiders, in 8th grade. 

 

These pages are designed for students who want to take a look back and review the reading skills and material that was presented to them in class. It is also a 'gallery' to showcase the work of exceptional students who have done a great job by completing tasks to a very high standard. 

 

Finally, this is also a way for me to introduce myself.
