Each of our stories, speeches, or non-fiction texts introduce a reading skill. Our first story, in 9th grade, 'The Most Dangerous Game' focuses on - Visualization, Plot, and Conflict. In 7th Grade we will also look at 'Theme' These pages are to help you look back at how these skills were presented in class.

Understand the charcters presented to you in the text. Why are they acting in the way they are? Can you make predictions as to what might happen? Can you identify the main conflict/s that is/are presented? Can you 'see' the setting through the description used by the writer?
